Product Description:

VLC media player is a highly portable multimedia player for various audio and video formats (MPEG, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, mp3, ogg, ...) as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols.

What's new in this version:

Fixed a nasty regression in 0.6.1 which made some streams unplayable
Transcoder now generates proper pts/dts thus should work a lot better
Improved MPEG TS muxer
Few fixes to the VCD navigation
Text subtitles now centered on the picture
Ffmpeg decoder now generates proper pts and can be used to play mpeg1/2 videos
