HP OfficeJet D series ReviewWe have given up on HP - Version: 7.3.1, 12/14/2007 05:26AM PST

We decided to go for Konica Minolta´s C 252 and then you see how poor the quality of HP´s Officejets really is. We will not go anymore for HP products, and use the four Officejets as good as possible. At least the repaired OfficeJet G95 is doing its work for sending faxes. Our Apple computers are receiving faxes, which really works great. The 3 OfficeJets D 7140 ix are really terrible compared with the Konica Minolta. Of course they are much cheaper as well.

HP OfficeJet D series Commentarydraft? - Version: 7.3.1, 3/20/2007 10:02AM PST

Installation for a USB OfficeJet d was straightforward and worked. I never got it working through the network though (as an IP printer), despite the instructions.

More annoying, though: It appears with the new driver there's no way to select "draft" printing. HP's way to sell more ink? For shame, HP.

HP OfficeJet D series ReviewThis is not on hardware - Version: 7.3.1, 11/28/2006 02:52PM PST

Today we again (=second time) received replacements for our 7140 ix all in one machines. We signed a three year´s guarantee contract of about 40, €uros per machine and that means HP will replace our damaged/not working machines free of costs. The hardware is quite bad to be honest, and that when finally the software is working. Not perfectly well, however, far better than ever before.
