Product Description:
Mr. Tides displays tide and current information for a variety of locations around the world. It can display the day's tides, the week's tides, or the month's tides in two different ways. You select a station via the maps presented by Mr. Tides, or by searching the station list.
What's new in this version:
- The calendar can be set to display text only.
- Anchor Aid, a new feature, has been added. This will tell you if it’s safe to anchor at a tide station based upon your vessel’s draft, the depth of water under your boat, and the current tide. It will also tell you how much scope you’ll need, based upon the high tide.
- Documents now autosave themselves so changing views doesn’t trigger a save notification. I’ve also improved the way new stations find their locations, eliminating one unnecessary dialog box.
- Window positions are now saved and restored.
- Fixed a problem with multiple Growl notifications being displayed.
- Changed Growl to use localized languages.
- Fixed a problem when the system’s date format wasn’t what I expected.
- Fixed maps where station dots wouldn’t appear.
- Stations with periods in their names now save correctly. Before, the file name would be truncated at the period.

Republic of Ireland not covered. It may be a great Tide Predictor for the rest of you guys but I put to sea from Ireland and we do not exist for Mr. Tides. Have a word with the British Admiralty. They are still giving out tidal information for Ireland for free on the internet.

I have been using Mr. Tides for sometime now, both the X and the 3 versions. I have checked the tide tables that it generates with the local tables and found they match. I recently wrote the author with a suggestion in regards to the calendar feature and he kindly added it to the program, thank you very much.
