Product Description:

Mr. Tides displays tide and current information for a variety of locations around the world. It can display the day's tides, the week's tides, or the month's tides in two different ways. You select a station via the maps presented by Mr. Tides, or by searching the station list.

What's new in this version:

Completely rewritten in Objective-C, Mr. Tides 3 is Universal, uses the Sparkle update engine for automatic updates, has the latest XTIDE TCD library, offers speed improvements (especially on Intel Macs - no more Rosetta!), has an improved interface and new maps (now satellite images from NASA), can export events to iCal and export station locations to Google Earth, and can use Growl notifications to report when tide events occur.


Mr. Tides 3 does not use an installer as it is a Drag and Drop application.

Republic of Ireland not covered. It may be a great Tide Predictor for the rest of you guys but I put to sea from Ireland and we do not exist for Mr. Tides. Have a word with the British Admiralty. They are still giving out tidal information for Ireland for free on the internet.

I have been using Mr. Tides for sometime now, both the X and the 3 versions. I have checked the tide tables that it generates with the local tables and found they match. I recently wrote the author with a suggestion in regards to the calendar feature and he kindly added it to the program, thank you very much.
