Product Description:

Decodes several different audio formats (AC-3, QuickTime, MP3, AIFF, WAV, Audio CD) and converts to AIFF, MP3 (using LAME), or MPEG-4 audio (AAC). Includes batch encoding, normalization, AC-3 channel splitting, and more! All code is free and open source.

  • Updated to a52dec 0.7.4: Faster and better quality.
  • Added QuickTime encoding, including AAC.
  • Added WAV output.
  • Better channel splitting and AC-3 fixing.
  • Pause menu item.
  • Option to disable progress bar (faster under OS X).

Can no longer split AC3 into discreet tracks in Tiger. Desperately needs to be fixed. Anybody else know how to split AC3 channels on a Mac?
