Product Description:

Unlike many other password generators, Pass It On gives you complete control over the format of the generated passwords. Pass It On can also use the included word list of over 220,000 words to generate passwords so they are easier for your users to remember. For example, if you used the format of "$$##$$$$", you might get a password like "ra23bbit". A format of "$$##$#$$" might generate a password like "si56n3ce". The possibilities are nearly endless!

What's new in this version:

Added the ability to specify non-alphanumeric characters in the password format (use a ^).

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

Pass It On Reviewcan't make it work - Version: 1.2, 3/8/2005 11:16AM PST

The GENERATE button never becomes active.
The interface is needlessly geeky, not a very good Macintosh application at all. Your password parameters must be entered as a set of weird symbols. More useful password tools use radio buttons or text input.
this needs a bunch of work, don't bother to download it.

Any attempt to make any kind of password (including using the defaults) fails with an error that crashes the program. This kind of software is commonly knows as a POS.

reasonably easy to use. Couple of minor things, first is you cannot specify the Minimum and Maximum characters to be the same, secondly if you mess up and the password format has too many symbols then you get an error .. unfortunately you get this error for every password being generated, I'm still clicking ok after trying to get 100 passwords.
