Product Description:

Launch! Usage Meter is a Mac OS X application for Telstra BigPond broadband users - Cable, ADSL and Satellite. Launch! Usage Meter provides an unrated usage meter that updates automatically while connected to the network, calculations of costs when over your monthly allowance, and a status menu item.

Launch! Usage Meter is donation-ware - which pretty much means it is freeware (no nag screens or limitations) but I appreciate donations if you find the software useful. See the web site for details.

What's new in this version:

Fixed bug that caused crashing when password was not saved
Updated to show total only when BigPond servers are not reporting upload and download split

This may be a Telstra limitation, since the usage meter on their website also doesn't work with ISDN - yet they stilol seem capable of metering my usage and charging me!!! (Frankly, Telstra's metering/charging model sucks to the max, but what can you do?)
