Product Description:

Polymatic (formerly DiceX) is a Cocoa dice-roller for Mac OS X Leopard. It features optional dropping of rolls; "per die" and "per pool" modifiers for bonus, penalty, and multiplier; a log to maintain track of your previous rolls; optional rerolling below and/or above certain values; and a button to configure for basic percentile rolling. The program also features the concept of grouping a roll of the dice into pools, and then grouping those pools into, well, "groups," which allows for great flexibility when configuring a roll. If you see anything missing or malfunctional, please do let me know, as I gladly accept feature requests and bug reports.

What's new in this version:

Polymatic CommentaryWhy no OSX 10.3 Support? - Version: 1.4.0, 8/16/2007 04:51AM PST

gnilowbb
What services does this application use that restricts the implementation to 10.4 only? Is it that difficult to build a release that is compatible with 10.3 and 10.4?

If you receive an error at startup (and have upgraded from a previous version), you'll need to delete the "DiceX" folder under ~/Library/Application Support/. This is a necessary step due to all the changes in the upgrade. This topic is covered in the Online Help, accessible from the "Help" menu once you've opened DiceX.

Polymatic Developer NoteIf you're encountering problems... - Version: 1.3, 6/20/2007 10:05AM PST

If you're encountering problems, try using the "Rest" button in the main window's toolbar. That may correct any issues due to migrating to a new version. Cheers!
