Product Description:

This BETA driver provides support for the built-in floppy drive on PowerMac G3 computers, including the PowerBook G3 Wallstreet and Mainstreet and the beige desktop, mini-tower, and all-in-one.

It also supports the built-in floppy drive on older machines such as the PowerMac 8500, though it is not as well tested on these machines.

Fixes ~3-day kernel panic (out of kernel memory).
May improve support for some faster machines.
Improved performance.

had to delete a kernal extension to remove this. Since performance is sooo slow, and it doesn't work w/ pc formatted floppies, got a usb floppy drive for about $30 at compusa and it works fine w/ my g3 beige. Still giving this 2 stars for their effort.

*works* for Jaguar, It's not worth using. It takes approx 10 mins to mount a disk.....and I've been trying to copy a small text file for 10 mins now and it's still chugging away with no progress shown. It has serious performance issues.
