Superb...

Although ZoomQuilt is very cool, I don't see the point in comparing it to this in any capacity and I most certainly don't agree with AppleBeer's review. This is easily the best Electropaint port I've seen and I've always loved its random/organized beauty. I will agree, however, with his complaints about the lighting - while I like the addition of the dark/light concept, the current version of the screensaver seems significantly darker than previous versions, so much that it ends up detracting from the effect. Just too big of a step in the right direction. Otherwise, fantastic work.

I have this fantastic saver running as my desktop background with xback at work and I love it. People often just stare at my machine when they walk by it mesmerized. I'm thrilled Brad is still updating this great saver. More updates please!

This seems to work without incident for me, but I don't find it all that interesting. YMMV, of course - certainly worth a try!

this version seems to have trouble with preferences, for me. I can't get it to get rid of the outlines, and the speed doesn't seem to change. I've tried deleting the old prefs, and having it re-create them, but that didn't fix it.

be one of the best screen savers of all time... simple, beautiful, and mesmerizing. Its great for using a music visualizer too. I've had no problems with the update or speed issues (dual processor probably helps). Word of advice to those who complained: when updating/upgrading any app, always back up your old versions.

TiG4 it crawls unless I switch to thousands of colors, but I love this screensaver, I wish I hadn't updated it. The older version worked fine, probably has to do with the antialiasing.
