Product Description:

Daylite 3 helps businesses organize themselves with tools such as shared calendars, contacts, tasks, projects, notes and more. Enable easy collaboration with features such as task and project delegation between users and never let things fall through the cracks. Create smart lists to find meaningful data fast - including delegated but uncompleted work. Work anywhere - in a networked office, from home or on the road.

What's new in this version:

  • Updated OpenBase to version 10.0.10 build #115.
  • Merging with Word 2004 for Mac has been significantly sped up and now accepts the full set of keys available to internal letter merge and Word 2008 for Mac.
  • Time fields in the appointment edit window now accept timing such as 12 AM properly.
  • Added the ability to search for report names when adding a report to Delivery.
  • Automatically drop the schedule sheet when a new report has been added to Delivery.
  • Improved time entry in the time fields for appointments and the scheduler.
  • Handles the case where Daylite is unable to connect to an offline database for syncing.

  • Offers the ability to detect and repair the Quick Find index when it is out of date.
  • Improved the display of multi-day appointments in the Calendar.
  • Changed drag create behavior in the Calendar—holding down the Option key will now auto link users selected in the source list pane.
  • The "Actions > Link to" menu command (Command-L) now works in the edit cards.
  • The "Actions > Link to" menu item now works in the activity set creation sheet.
  • The activity set creation window now uses the due date of the linked object as the end date for reverse activity sets automatically.
  • Improved support for Unicode characters in text import.

Daylite CommentaryDespite my initial review below, I've given up. - Version: 3.9.2, 6/18/2009 01:25PM PST

I really did like this product until an update caused a total failure in the ability to sync to Address Book or iCal. Tech support has been nothing short of amazing in trying to solve this issue but we've both spent hours on this and I do have a life. I gave up on the product and now I'm back to Address Book and iCal (and without any sync issues, CardScan). Its clear to me that this is a Daylite problem as I was able to sync to competing products and even the beta of Now X which I might migrate to when its released. IF this company can fix the sync issues, I might go back but at this point, its just too much a headache.
