know why people are trying to use these drivers with OS X 10.2 (or higher) when they were released in July, and are most likely out of date compared to the drivers included in Jaguar...

don't read all the reviews after the first page: Don't install this updater if your ATI card came with your computer! If you bought it seperately, then update at your own risk. I have a G4/450DP (running OSX 10.2.1) with an ATI Rage Pro 128, installed the updater and found that anything using Open GL crashed on startup (e.g. Return to Castle Wolfenstein and other serious things like that ;-) ). Luckily found the updated bits under System/Library/Extensions/AppleNDRV and overwrote them with the files from the Jaguar install disk which fixed everything. You have been warned!

problem of my PCI Radeon Mac Edition that didn't let me start my mac after I installed ATI drivers. In fact in the read me, it is mentionned that there could no be 2 PCI graphic card plugged. After I removed the 2nd PCI card, restored the old drivers (taken from a fresh osx install), installed again the nex drivers, then everything worked fine.
