Product Description:

If you upload and download binary files to and from newsgroups you can use this to generate a set of PAR files. If you miss one or more of the binary files when downloading, the PAR files can be used to restore the missing files. Furthermore, if the file set contains a RAR archive, the program automatically unpacks it. Other file types, like stuffit files, are automatically forwared to the appropriate program. The program cooperates with Loek Jehee's Split&Concat to automatically join a segmented file.

What's new in this version:

Corrected an error introduced with the 3.6 release, that caused the program to crash when expanding very big RAR archives (> 12 GB).

A great programme to be sure -- But the nagging (A donation isn't compulsory, Gerard, it's given of ones own free will) and the jumping out of the Dock bit when it is finished finally forced me to delete it.

If I need to join files I just open up Parallels and use a less nagging application to accomplish the task.

And Gerard -- Since it isn't actually a donation you are seeking, but a compulsory financial tribute, you ought to seriously consider a little truth in advertising in your nags.

In fact it seems to be the ONLY such tool and...it just flat out no longer works. At least 90% of the time not. I agree, it used to be damned cool but, in OSX 10.5.6 it does nothing. Even the quit menu command is greyed out so a Force Quit is the order of the day after trying in vain once again to get it to do its tricks.
