Yikes. I too had big trouble with this app. (Using an iMac G4 running OS X 10.2.8). After installing I could not get my iMac to boot at all. Had to reinstall OS from original CD and am now putting everything back together. Not Good!

Change Startup Disk CommentaryFailure - Version: 1.6.1, 10/28/2004 03:51PM PST

Change Startup Disk 1.6.1 brought down my computer. After installing, I could not boot up with OS9 or OSX and had to take my eMac and pay $95 to get it booted up; then they could not startup with OS9 because it was corrupted. This program should be removed from all locations so that no one else gets fouled up.

I attempted to use this software on my iMac running 10.2.5, and got into a terrible mess (blinking question mark with superimposed fiolder icon) wherein the Startup Manager did not recognize my startup disk. I finally had to boot with the 9.2.2 disk and then was able to get back into 10.2.5.
