DivX Doctor II updates DivX .avi videos to 3ivx QuickTime (.mov) videos. After the conversion you will be able to play the video smoothly, and the audio glitches inherrant in the AVI format will be fixed. The conversion is fast.

Nice idea, but most of the movies I tried caused strange error messages.
Tried a different computer-no difference.
These movies export fine from Quicktime anyway, so I wrote my own batch converter.

It's a great little app which works as advertised for me. Its lacking a couple of features though. It has no long filename support. (Annoying but not critical) Files with AC3 encoded sound aren't yet supported. (Only recently been seeing such files so although there is an AC3 codec support may not be fully implemented.)
