Connection problem with ASE 11.9.x fixed - Version: 2.5.5, 4/15/2004 12:19AM PST

"Just download LSQL again to get the fixed version. The problem with connection to ASE 11.9.2 is caused by ASE 11.9.2 returning wrong length in capacity token for the new and longer capacity token. Sybase isql fixes this by connecting and finding the problem and reopening the connection with the old capacity token. LSQL does now in the same way."

Does LSQL support Unicode data in result sets? I've tried connecting using the client charset mac and iso_1 and both show univarchar() columns as hex data (like 0x004a006100730065) instead of actual text.

been thinking about LSQL for MySQL and PostgreSQL. The abstraction of database access has started in LSQL 1.9.5. Though the mysql cocoa framework "mysql-cocoa" license is GNU GPL, which makes it impossible to use that. No good enough cocoa framework for PostgreSQL out there either...
