I've made this driver graceful the instructions that Vincent DENIS-LAROQUE gave for the BJC-3000 Driver.

Here the instructions to install it:

Get the .tar.gz archive
logout and login as ROOT
Remove the directory /Library/Printers/Canon completely
Extract the BJC6200Driver.tar.gz archive to /Library/Printers/
Restart your computer
Start the Print Center and add your Canon BJC-6200
Let's go and print stuffs ;)

I have followed the instructions but no luck. When I unzip the download, there is no logout or login process. Is this something I do on my G5 - there is no cpapcity to type a word in though.
I tried putting the canon folder manually iinto the printer folder so many times - nothing works.
Any help would be really approeciated by the collective mac minds out there.

Jus want to let you know that this driver is working fine on 10.3.7 ! Even connected to an Airport Express Base Station it's working without problems.

It would be nice to include the installation documentation into the download file.

At last I can use my Canon printer again. Tried using GIMP print, worked OK, but very fiddly trying to get the right settings. This driver is easy to use. Well done.
Any chance of the Printer Utility (BJPrinterUtility) working, 'cos I'm sure the print heads need cleaning
