I have to amend...

... my previous comment. I put my removable disks in the file section of the dock (as opposed to at the top of the dock) and I can browse the contents of the disk. Right on! That was my oversight. Now I seems perfect to me.
Seems pretty cool

I just installed and played with this for a while. Seems pretty nice to me. I can live with the dock restarting... that bugger needs a little kicking around every once in a while if you ask me (and it certainly doesn't hurt anything as far as I know). I don't know what's up with Acrappa's Mac, but my discs eject immediately when dragged off the dock and the desktop images of the disks also disappear immediately. So far, not one complaint, though I don't really see much use for this without being able to browse the contents of the disk - except that it provides somewhat handy access to removable disk eject. But it is free and the author should be applauded for his work so far. Well done.

You can mount disk in the dock by dragging their icon there. You can disable eveything on the desktop with the Finder Preferences. Is this app really needed?
