Impressive, my CPU monitor is really chilling right now and it sounds great. It does not skip. Does not handle dropped folders onto playlist very well, but I can live with that. Very nice job!

If you want a really fast player on a G3 (1/3-1/4 the CPU usage of iTunes), want to organize your playlists using this App, must have an equalizer, and don't care about the occasional skip, use Mu. But if you want a player that uses iTunes' play lists, is as equally fast, and doesn't skip but doesn't have an equalizer, use mpegToaster 2.

interface, but not a terrible one either. It has dock controls, which is nice, and it does scan recursively for MP3 files, unlike was said earlier. It doesn't read ID3 tags however, which is not a biggie cause I use MP3 Rage to rename all my files to their ID3 tags. Also the volume is not an issue with the volume control on my speakers. Not bad for a wrapper, except the wrapper is taking up 3% of memory, whereas mpg123 only takes up 0.5%. This means it's only about half the memory requirements of iTunes and Audion. If you could shave that off a little it would be great.
