Product Description:

This is the software which converts a MPEG2 file being used for the image of DVD-Video into a QuickTime movie. I ported mpeg2dec by Mr. Michel Lespinasse and Mr. Aaron Holtzman to Mac OS X, and added deinterlace, resizing, preview, subtitles extraction and QuickTime output function.

What's new in this version:

  • The pixel format function, indication of color information and the color adjustment function were added.
  • The blur filter menu was moved to the filter window.
  • The action with Mac OS X 10.3.x was improved.

sound not a problem since its in the same format for mpeg2 as for quicktime - just demux sound track from your mpeg2 and add it to your imovie project.

BUT this is so slow compared to Diva
