Operating System Requirements:
This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:
I'm not convinced there is a Mac OS X version of this software. If you go to the developer's website and try to download the Mac version, you get an MS-DOS exe file. What is this, a practical joke?
I tried the Windows version, but I don't need photo editing software in Windows. I have Paint Shop Pro.
I like my dock to run up the left side of my main moniter and this software insists on placing the toobars under the dock. There's no apparant way to re-position these toolbars, so the software is unusable.
Sometimes incredibly slow to save in OS X 10.3.2 (admittedly, this is with very large scans) but works well and accepts the PhotoShop-compatible plug-in for my CanoScan N1220u scanner.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 is probably the one to go for if you're going to shell out any cash but if you're a .Mac member and get this for free, use it to do the things that iPhoto doesn't. Contrary to previous posts, there isn't an issue with OS X. It's a Carbon app and it runs as a native OS X application.
