This app is great but it misses out on making thumbnail in a batch and I then need to manualy create thumbnails on each one with TP which is a bit frustrating. I hope the developer will release an update and not just leave it for dying.

I just evaluated dropBatch, DropIcon, Iconic, Pic2Icon and Thumbnail Pro, and I liked this one the best, primarily for its Always Fill Frame option. The Themes are neat, though I'm not using them right now, I may do so in the future.
You should definitely download and try all the icon-making software available, and then if you want big 128x128 icons, I think you'll like this one, too -- $10 isn't really that much to ask.
