Hmmm, getting slightly confused here. I'm currently shopping for a blogger, and really don't mind spending money for an app (especially not if it does what I want). What's the current fee for blosxom? Versiontracker's about bar says USD 15, while www.blosxom.com sez (quote) "# Absolutely FREE for the taking". I'll check it out anyway, but I'd like the author's comment on this.
Again, I won't mind paying for something I deem useful. I just want to be sure.

Setting up a blosxom blog takes a bit of work, some of it guesswork -- and it helps to have some basic knowledge of cgis and perlscript, especially if you're setting it up on a remote server. Still by no means impossible even for the newbie. AFAIK, this is the only way to host a blog on a server that doesn't supply the WebDav extensions required for most blogging editors.

I have the same problem as mr.mister. It is a nice small download, but what the hell do I do with it?
