Entourage Email Archive X - 2.4

Entourage Email Archive X (EEAX) is an utility for archiving emails and attachments you have received or sent using Microsoft Entourage in Mac OS X.

Entourage Email Archive X can archive your email in six different ways:

• Archive emails and/or attachments in the Finder:
  1 - Archive Emails + attachments
  2 - Only Emails
  3 - Only attachments
• Archive emails as native Entourage file format (.eml) in the Finder
  4 - Backup emails as .eml files
• Export or append emails in a text file
  5 - Export new text file
  6 - Append to text file
• Export or append emails in tab-text format
  7 - Export tab-text file (Plain Text)
  8 - Export tab-text file (Unicode Text)
  (for tab-text export, a freeware FileMaker Pro template is enclosed in EEAX folder)
• Archive email by Email Address
  9 - Email Address (Emails + Attachments)

Settings 1, 2, 3 produce a Finder-structured-folders archive where emails and/or attachments are grouped by day. It is also possible to enable the feature for saving emails as native Entourage file format.
Setting 4 produces a Finder-structured-folders archive where emails in native Entourage file format are grouped by year and month.
It is possible to browse the archives generated with settings 1,2,3,4 and 9 and quickly locate informations inside thousands and thousands of emails using Tiger Spotlight or Find by content of Apple or utilities like iPassepartout.
Settings 5 and 6 produce a long 'paper trail' file that can be viewed with a robust text editor like BBEdit, Text-Edit Plus or Microsoft Word.
Settings 7 and 8 produce a tab-text file that can be imported into computer database programs like Filemaker Pro.
Setting 9 produce a Finder-structured-folders archive and all emails are grouped by email address, and the Entourage folder structure is not considered. For received emails (incoming) the email address key is the Sender, for Sent emails the email address key is the Destinatary (To recipient).
