Product Description:

Entourage Email Archive (EEA X) is a simple and fast utility for archiving emails and attachments you have received or sent using Microsoft Entourage X.

Entourage Email Archive X can archive your email in three different ways:

Archive email and/or attachments in the Finder
Export or append email in a text file
Export or append email in tab-text format
(for this function a freeware FileMaker Pro template is enclosed in EEA X folder)
- Settings 1 produce produce a Finder-structured-folders archive where emails and/or attachments are grouped by day. It's also possible save email in native Entourage file format for quick restore or for move emails between Microsoft product.
- Settings 2 produce a long 'paper trail' file that can be viewed with a robust text editor like BBEdit, Apple TextEdit or Microsoft Word.
- Settings 3 produce a tab-text file that can be imported into computer database programs like Filemaker Pro.

What's new in this version:

EEA X manuals are now available in English and French versions.
EEA X 1.6 now preserves Unicode characters for non-Roman languages (like Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Cyrillic...) when saving emails and attachments to Finder-structured folder archive using the first three kinds of archives (Emails + attachments, only emails, only attachments). Filenames of files are now displayed in the Finder as in Entourage X.
The process window has been completely redesigned. Process window now shows the total number of emails to process, estimated remaining time and the current examined folder.
The Filter section in Preferences has been refined. There are now 3 choices: Disabled, Archive emails older than, Archive emails newer than, with the ability to see the date that EEA X uses for reference. A small stepper (the range is from 1 to 1000 days) is used to input the number of days. Shortcut for stepper: option key increases/decreases by 10 days, command key increases/decreases by 50 days.
Speed has been increased. EEA X is now about 10 percent faster.
The final Log report shows more info about each processed folder and the summary of total archived/exported emails.
Fixed bug during startup that occurred if the full pathname to EEA X contains non-Roman Unicode characters (Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Cyrillic...).
Recompiled and optimized to run in Jaguar OS X 10.2. EEA X 1.6 runs now only on OS X 10.2 or higher.
Unregistered version can now manage 20 emails per session.
Tested compatibility with latest version of OS X 10.2.5 and 10.2.6

Within minutes of a request posted to Softhing I received direction to a beta version of EEAX that works with Entourage Web Services Edition. Downloaded in seconds and tried it. Works great. This is an invaluable application I highly recommend. Great service, too.

As a hotel development manager, I get thousands of emails each month that I need to archive (with their attachments) on a regular basis and retrieve, once in a while! I am using eeax since several years, but have recently discovered how easy it is to use it with FileMaker, thus making retrieving the easiest thing in the world!
It's very easy!
