If you don't use this app exactly right then it won't work. You have to open the app and not just drag-n-drop the package on it. Kinda freaked me out when it read that I couldn't remove the bogus package because it needed authentication but didn't provide the window to do that. When I did get it after a dozen or so tries it worked great.
Gets the job done!

I have been using this product for over a year throughout the versions and have never had serious issues. As in any free program I don't expect it to be perfect but it definitely does what it is supposed to do.

Thought this was gone for good.
This new beta works again, but I had to click remove twice. The first time it said authentication error and the second time it worked (without entering my pw again).
It can be a little confusing with multiple updates of the same app showing up in the panel but that is apple's fault (and I havn't figured out yet if removing quicktime update 6.5.1 will aslo remove quicktime 7)
Thanks

I just used this for removing a package and it trashed my /usr/bin directory and some other system components! This application is dangerous.
