Product Description:

Texport is a batch find/replace program. It allows you to search through many files for a string, and replace it with another. Texport works very fast, it can run through hundreds of files in seconds. It features line-based search and replace for very long files (100K+).

What's new in this version:

  • Automatic mode selection (so you don't have to!)
  • Case-sensitive searching
  • Completion Dialog detailing which files were changed
  • Included Basic Text Editor
  • Fixed bug where file could be added twice
  • Dock icon alert when process is finished

Texport ReviewWorks okay, but doesn't preserve line endings - Version: 1.1, 8/3/2003 03:28AM PST

This app works well, but although it promises to handle line endings appropriately, it changes UNIX line endings to Mac line endings when I used it, which meant extra work for me. Still a reasonably good app, but remember to check your line endings.

is perfect! The interface is nice too. The only thing I miss is a way to save find/replace setups so I can repeat the same task later on a different set of files. Thanks danicsoft! Don't run any find/replace on a file that is open/in use by another app though....
