Easy setup, and now moving data back and forth between my Mac and my PC, which until now has been impossible on ANY of my machines using Apple's built-in SAMBA "support".

Other than the fact that this really doesn't work, I can't think of a single reason not to download and clutter up your hard drive with another useless ap.

This is a very useful program, and the "lite" verion is free and totally functional for basic filesharing needs. What it does, among other things, is to make it possible for windows clients to see and download Macintosh files even if they have characters in their names which are "illegal" in Windows (such as quotes, slashes, etc). Samba can't do that. Also, with Samba on Windows clients, you have to remember an arcane IP address like smb://username@comutername/foldername, or something like that. This program makes it so a complete beginner can see and share files. I highly recommend it for this use.
