Product Description:

PDFCat - Use this utility to keep track of your PDF documents. Just select a folder and this will provide details about any PDF files contained within. Information provided includes: Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, Producer, Creator, Creation Date, Modification Date.

If the file isn't password protected, you can edit this information and save the whole list to an index file. The unregistered version will only index 10 files at a time. Once registered you can deal with up to 2,000 files at once.

What's new in this version:

Performance imporvements - faster dealing wih large files. Recognises more types of PDF files.

This scans the tags of a pdf file. Probably took 20 min to write and build start to finish. Can't handle compressed PDFs. Total trash. Don't waste time

I have many PDF's of scientific journals that I like to index and Have found that DevonThink is very powerful.

Also, the developers are conscientious and responsive and the app gets better all the time.

I DO NOT work for/with them.

index all of the text within any pdf. It's also very fast.
