WristSaver ReviewLeaks memory like crazy! - Version: 1.0.1, 9/5/2005 07:04PM PST

I was running it under 10.4. The functionality is not bad, but after a few days I discovered it was using 300 MB of RAM!!! (the machine I installed it on only has 768 total) That was the point at which I threw it in the trash. Now I am trying TimeOut...better features than WristSaver, and hopefully it doesn't leak as much memory (we'll see...).

WristSaver ReviewGood program, but… - Version: 1.0.1, 11/3/2002 04:25PM PST

lacks the features of MacBreakZ and Coffee Break Pro - e.g. microbreaks, activity detection - that make for an optimal RSI-prevention program. But unlike those apps, it's free! Countdown timer in the dock is nice.

WristSaver CommentaryI wont rate… - Version: 1.0.1, 4/14/2002 10:43AM PST

this, as I have decided not to use it. I prefer the much simpler RestTimerX. I don't have to tell it when I start or stop working, and I find the countdown timer in the Dock to be distracting. I'm not saying WristSaver is bad, only that it's not best for me.
