arfitact_WMI could not get it to import a TDF of 5600 contacts, from an old PIM which were exported as TDF. The sBook app recognized what kind of file it was, gave me two choices before importing them (concatenate first-last names, which I had already done in the exported TDF, & ignore the first line or first entry since it might be column-fieldname headers, which it was and which I did want to import as a test).
I wish I could Sort the main list by email address once I have shown them - as a way to cull out duplicates that are NOT duplicates in a literal sense.
Wish that HELP was 'available for sBook5' so I could evaluate it more fully.
What personal info mgmt should be

AkopmanNevertheless this program has all the ease of use and editing that Apple's Address Book (AB) lacks. A note to Apple: Drop AB and adopt SBook5.

I really hope someone picks this up. SBook5 is a unique alternative for those who feel constrained by Apple's Address Book. It has served me excellently for years, but is in need of maintenance: basically very solid, but some of the peripheral functions don't work quite as they should. It deserves a future, because nothing else out there does the same thing quite so well.
