Product Description:

Desktastic enables you to use your mouse or tablet to draw directly on top of the Mac OS X desktop. Useful for notes, teaching classes, visually describing apps, or just drawing funny things for no reason at all.

What's new in this version:

Full Wacom table support including pressure sensitivity and eraser
Drawings are now auto-saved on quit
Drawings no longer dissapear if the app is hidden
Added ability to Save drawings as .png files with transparency
Added ability to Print drawings
New "Draw-Above" global hotkey to trigger the Draw-Above state
A new "Drawing Layer" preference lets drawings be placed underneath icons if desired
Lots of little bug fixes!

havent had this fun with my desktop in years ! finally i can do what i was always was doing in school, drawing on my desktop bench ! i suggest a gallery of desktatic user creations on panics site :)

of its kind. Possible and desirable improvements: keyboard shortcuts, greater palette of colors. Use it every day for class presentations to university students. Cat's meow. And decent price.

Now I can draw and type on the inside of the screen of my iBook instead of trying to erase all those ballpoint and Marks-A-Lot scribblings on the outside like I normally have to. Naturally, after marking many a screen since 1987, I now have to buy a Wacom tablet, as another victim of this nifty app noted below. Such is progress.
