Finally! A simple screen ruler. It's shareware, but it's actually usable as downloaded so you can try it out and see whether you like it. Registering adds nifty features, and it's reasonably inexpensive.

Downloaded and purchased Tape Measure X once I discovered that The Print Shop for Mac did not have rulers included in the program. Rulers are needed in graphic programs to size images and overall layout. Tape Measue X was just what I need. The price is right and it is very cute (comes with different skins). Hats off to Whining Dog Software.
