PathSnagger CM ReviewExcellent Tool! - Version: 1.1b5, 6/19/2006 06:51AM PST

Very good tool;not onl;y that, but it seems to run fine in the latest OS update.

One very minor quibble; I want to use Unix paths and for the boot drive, it doesn't list the root. Not a big deal, but I'd kinda prefer it that way.

... but would be even greater if one could edit a prefix for the path. Even as it is: thousand thanks!

PathSnagger CM Usage Tipneither path format works in Apples 'GoTo' dialogues - Version: 1.0.3, 5/25/2004 09:04AM PST

os4
Apple's Goto dialogue doesn't like both the Unix or HFS format. I currently have to trim the quotes from the Unix path for the Goto dialogue to move me to the desired location.

Would be great to have an added option to copy the Unix path without quotes.

BTW, is this thing still being developed? Is it worth posting on this item?

It does not copy the path when the file or folder is on a DVD

OK... I need you to please make this copy a path that is emailable to someone on a local area network that they can click on to get the file. SO it needs to append file:// in front of the unix path with a way to handle spaces in filenames. Without that, it's worthless to me. I think most people would love if you could do this.

Thanks,
Mike

PathSnagger CM ReviewNice! - Version: 1.0.3, 6/14/2003 07:09AM PST

Very useful! Especially since it encloses the path in quotes, as I use it mostly for PHP require/include statements.

Very useful. I'd actually like to be able to see it copy paths in Windows format as well. I'm often emailing paths to co-workers and end up replacing the slashes with backslashes.
