Product Description:

MemoryStick does one thing and does it well: it provides a graphical display of your physical RAM usage under Mac OS X. This tells you whether you have enough RAM to avoid virtual memory swapouts and generation of extra swapfiles during normal activity; virtual memory swapouts make Mac OS X much slower.

What's new in this version:

  • Added Growl notification support. See http://www.growl.info if you don't know what Growl is. A great way to use MemoryStick now is: turn the sound volumes down to zero, hide the application, and let Growl tell you when you generate pageouts and swapfiles.
  • Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

    • Mac OS X 10.4 PPC

    Additional Requirements:

    • Mac OS X 10.4 or higher

Sorry about that. I think the download is fixed now. (I don't understand what the problem was - even on my own machine, making an archive and trying to unzip fails, and I don't know why. I should have tested this before posting. It is now a zipped .dmg and it appears to work fine.)
