Apple FixApplicationsFolderPermissions Commentary5 stars for… - Version: 1.0, 5/8/2002 01:18PM PST

Down Under
strobes info.... i had some trash problems, and found out if there is 1 file you dont have persmission to it says you can not empty the trash and asks if you want to continue or not,.... nothing will get emptied even if you select continue from the dialog that pops up. so i just dragged all the files into an new folder on the desktop, typed the magic code (here it is again just in case) - "sudo chown -R myusername file/folder path"  and then i dragged the folder into the terminal and it copied the file path down for me... nice.
