This is really a great application. Been using this one for 5 years now and though it's not flashy, it looks nice, works well and does exactly what it says, and very well at that. Thanks to the developer for giving us such a useful tool at such an attractive price - FREE!
A great tool

This is a very useful aid, especially for those of us running dual monitors.
As others have noted, the transparency settings have no effect. Transparency remains at 0%, which is to say 100 opaque. True floating would also make it even more attarctive, but those are minor quibbles.
No problems here. — Tiger 10.4.10. Dual bootable, DP MDD 1.25GHz G4 (2004), maxed out at 2GB of RAM, both Spotlight and Dashboard disabled, Photoshop primary scratch disk on dedicated 160GB internal drive, at least 100GB available on each of the four internal drives, up to 300GB on some. Counting external FW drives just over 1TB of drive space available. nVidia GeForce 7800 GS 425MHz 256 MB graphics display card. Processor napping enabled through CHUD 3.5.2.
Thank you!

Transparency? - Version: 1.7b5, 1/2/2007 02:00PM PST

FWIW, it seems the transparency settings have no effect. The "rulers" are opaque and stay that way. PPC, 10.4.8

This new version occasionally throws an Exception error and quits in MacOSX 10.3.9.
Also, there is an ongoing problem with the previous version and this one. I have shared this with the author but gotten no response. The program seems to be reacting to keypresses when it is not the frontmost app. The rulers just go nuts when I am typing somewhere else. This results in units being changed, etc. This problem needs to be corrected or there needs to be a preference to turn off the keyboard shortcuts altogether.

Neither this 1.7b4 version nor the older ones are yet working with my MacBook 2GHz Dual Core.
Pity.
Incidentally, the 'Used Product For:' option above, needs a topic something like 'Tried but failed' or similar. 'Have not tried' is a bit meaningless; I've tried but it failed.

Exellent!

Yes, this is a very useful tool. Thank you so much. Hope that it will become a universal binary in the not too distant future!
