Product Description:

These scripts are for the Timeport (e.g. T260, T280, T720), V-series (e.g. V60 GPRS models, V66, V600), Accompli series (e.g. A008) and any subsequent models supporting GPRS for 'always-on' Internet access.

What's new in this version:

  • Updated Apr 2004 to add check for use of *99 instead of the APN, various other tweaks and improved ReadMe.

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.3

  • Mac OS X 10.1
  • Mac OS X 10.0
  • Mac OS Classic

Additional Requirements:

  • Apple Remote Access 2 or higher (OS 7-9), or Internet Connect (OS X)
  • Motorola cell phone with GPRS

Works great with my Motorola V3 RAZR and PowerBook G4 (12" DVI) via BlueTooth. Finally On-The-Road Internet Access, no thanks to my cellphone provider (Orange: ask Motorola) and Motorola (We do not support the Mac). Why Apple chooses to go with Intel is a no-brainer. This will be my last Motorola-phone. Many thanks to the developer of these scripts for doing Motorola's job.

problems: try turning off 'Use TCP header compression' (Remote Access PPP Options in OS 9, Network PPP Options in OSX). Also, for OS X only, try turning off 'Send PPP Echo packets'. - Kia ora, Ross
