this thing. There's no way it could be a one-star rating.

with that method, you could remove en.lproj resources, which are also english. Incidentally, that is similar to the method this app uses. To see for yourself, do a "paste" into any text editor when DeLocalizer asks for your password -- you will see the Unix command it executes (this is stated in the Readme).

and Youpi Optimizer as mentioned here... I didn't try this one yet, all I can say is... BEWARE! both of the ones I tried have now screwed me... I set them for US English and half my apps show in other laguages! The only way I have found to do this cleanly with no problems is to 1. while installing NOT install all the languages and 2. if needed later use the terminal command "find / ! -name "English.lproj" -name "*.lproj" -type d -exec rm -r -- {} ; " no quotes on one line.... this was the safest way for me... I have yet to try this particular app though.

appear exactly as they appear on your hard drive -- that is why there are some abbreviated languages. I could roll fr and French together, but I decided it would be more "open and honest" not to do that. And no, I didn't know what all the abbreviations stood for when I released it and I was very open about that. If you feel uncomfortable about deleting one of those abbreviated languages, then uncheck it and it won't be removed. That "feature" does not make DeLocalizer a bad program.

doesn´t know what abbreviations stand for which language and even mixed up some of them and he some abbs for the same language separately. Hopefully not many people used it and dumped their language "by mistake". Better said by selecting the correct entry, that is wrongly set by the app. It also needs the BSD. Why? Americanocentric anyway. You better get Youpi Optimizer, Language Cleaner or any of the rest.

intended to be "Americentric". It does not remove English because there are many applications out there that only have English localization. Accidentally removing English localization would render those applications unusable. If I get enough feature requests, I'll add the ability to remove English. As for other localization removal tools, DeLocalizer handles many more languages.

prefer Monolingual over this. Monolingual is more simple, prettier and basic that does what it claim.

Optimizer 1.6.0 (look for it here on VersionTracker) does the same for the rest of us. Deleting unwanted language resources that is, including American English.
