Product Description:

LineBreak is drag-and-drop application written in Cocoa to convert text files to a specified line break format (UNIX, Mac, or Windows/DOS). It has the following features:

Clean interface.
Converts documents quickly.
Drag and drop. Works great from the dock.
Batch conversions by dragging multiple files and/or folders onto LineBreak's icon.
You have the option to preserve modification dates
Works even when there are different kinds of line breaks in the same source document.
Protects against the corruption of non-text documents. You can even make your own rules!
Written in Objective C using the Cocoa API.
Licensed under the GNU GPL. This means it is really free and source code is included!

Fixed several crashes, no more known crashes.
Improved error handling and notification.
Small UI improvements.
Compiled with a better compiler, gcc 4.0.1.
Now requires Mac OS X 10.4.0 or higher.
Source code is much improved in terms of organization and readability.

Seems to fail when a directory is used - Version: 2.8, 10/24/2008 10:18PM PST

When dragging a folder onto the app, it seems to think it's just one file and won't properly process files and subfolders in that directory. Not sure if this is new to 2.8 or caused by a bug in the OS (first time I've used it since Leopard). All I know is that it doesn't work like it used to, and I wish it did.

I never had a problem with DivX subtitles while I was watching 'em on my Mac but when I copied some DVDs to friends either who use Winzort or seperate DivX Player systems, they had prodlems with my subtitles. Many times I had to edit subtitles (sync, change etc.) and after I save them they were not suitable for their systems. This little piece of software saved my life, I even don't have to open the files or anything, it simply converts them and saves. Great work.
