Product Description:

Unicode Font Info includes full support for Unicode 3.2 allowing you to easily navigate huge fonts with tens of thousands of supported glyphs representing most of the languages and scripts in the used in the world.

Includes source under MIT license.

Highlights currently selected Unicode Block so you can see what characters belong together
Selected Character drawer shows Name and HTML Entity for character

a lot of overlap with the character palette, though this is intended to be more font oriented, and will be developing into a solutin for printing typebooks and looking at fonts that aren't installed. I'm afraid I don't understand your comments about font size... if you choose a single character and set the grid size (bottom left corner) to 1x1 or 2x2 then the characters in the grid will be over 100pts ... several inches long!

better than the built-in Mac OS Character Palette, available via the keyboard menu? Personally, I find that the display is too small, even at the largest font setting.
