a lot of overlap with the character palette, though this is intended to be more font oriented, and will be developing into a solutin for printing typebooks and looking at fonts that aren't installed. I'm afraid I don't understand your comments about font size... if you choose a single character and set the grid size (bottom left corner) to 1x1 or 2x2 then the characters in the grid will be over 100pts ... several inches long!

better than the built-in Mac OS Character Palette, available via the keyboard menu? Personally, I find that the display is too small, even at the largest font setting.
