The developers of this app may well be providing update every few weeks for the past 3 years ..but in that time there has been almost no additional funtions added to this application ...i been using this app for some years myself so have seen all the updates and as always am very disapointed in the lack additional features.
Well Supported

Vendor has been providing updates for ~2-3 years and has always supported this very well. Ive gone back and forth between it and Fruit Menu, but have returned to Launch Items X for good reason. Bare Bones' BBEdit 8 and Mailsmith 2.1.3 have serious conflicts with the APE Manager for Unsanity haxies and other third party haxies.
This has been around since forever and I'm glad to have it as an option. I think it's worth a look in the crowded field of "launcher applications." I also have DragThing 5.x, another excellent launcher, but one not always as handy as one on the menu bar, a location that's sadly overcrowded on most Macs (if you need Blue Tooth, Airport, PPPoE control, etc. etc.)

I bought Lauch Items back in the day so keep checking up on it though I don't hardly use it (Browse Items is it). A freeware app that makes a shelf and is very customizeable is XShelf. Wait until you see the icon.
