Product Description:
The powerful yet easy to use FTP/SFTP client for the Apple Macintosh®. SimpleFTP runs on Mac OS® 10.3 or higher. SimpleFTP is a file transfer product, modeled on the RFC 959 File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Internet standard, that emphasizes simplicity and ease of use. SimpleFTP features include:
- Aqua compliant interface.
- Multi-threaded -- you can have unlimited number of simultaneous connections to different servers.
- File transfer resume of uploads and downloads (if supported by the server).
- Seamless multi file and folder transfers, and deletion.
- Bookmarks for easy access to commonly used servers.
- Drag & Drop support. Transferring files is as easy as dragging a file or folder!
- Supports the most popular UNIX®, Microsoft Windows®, IBM OS/2® and Apple Macintosh® FTP servers.
- Supports long file names (Mac OS X limit of 256 characters) and Unicode support.
- Support for SFTP (Secure FTP) connections.

After testing more than 5 different FTP apps over the past 6 months, I have to admit... I am a bit fussy about what I will reach for each day that I need FTP access to my Client's sites.
OK, I have more than 50 sites to manage and they are hosted in over 15 different countries so I really need something simple that allows me to get the work done quickly.
needless to say, I have high marks for SIMPLE FTP
the team at oncore put together one heck of a great app and I think they deserve a lot of credit for putting it out there for such a low cost.
I write this after having paid for other FTP software including Captain FTP and can confirm that Simple FTP simply works and as soon as I get a refund from the other app developers.. I will apply it as a donation to the lads at oncore so that they can continue their excellent work.
this is also the second time that I wrote such a glowing review ever.
and the first time that I was forced to write it twice thanks to a versiontracker bug

I am very picky about the apps I select and use.
Simple FTP is a tool I highly recommend.
It is simple, free, accurate, fast and intuitive.
It is also the 5th FTP application I have tried in 2007
and the ONLY app that I am satisfied with enough to
keep in my daily arsenal.
Yes, I even paid for apps like Captain FTP and others
and I dropped them all after a few weeks of
using SIMPLE FTP.
I have no idea what cvxcvc was referring to in his/her review
because I connect every day to more than 40 servers
in 15 different countries and SIMPLE FTP delivers every time.
I even submitted a few requests and got a response from the developer within 24hrs.. now who else has had that kind of positive experience? esp for free software!
kudos and thanks to the dev team an oncore for a superb product.
I look forward to the next version already to make my FTP life

even more SIMPLE
I've always used Fetch and some times others. This little application is the best of them all. The ease of use and speed are very nice. The view option is awesome. There is nothing on this app that hangs. I think this might be the first one that I've seen where everything works great and very fast.
Looks like I'll be forced to buy it.
