fine, as long as you use "Format>Make Plain Text" before you save it. And to comment Trents "why release"-question: Didn't you read the readme? ;) Feedback: There seems to be a problem with text-colour. (think rainbow) And it seems as if the standard place to put a "open command" would be in the File menu.

app if no one finds it useful? The way I see it a die stat app needs to do three things: data collection, data tabulation, and data storage. This app does only the second thing. A spreadsheet will do the second and third things, so if one has AppleWorks, Excel, or whatnot this program is useless. On a more technical note, I'm baffled this app requires almost 2 meg of diskspace for something that does so little. Perhaps that's because its a Carbon app? You could knock out a little Cocoa app that collects data, does this same tabulation, and even open/saves files using a real "File" menu in only an hour or so. I guess the moral behind all of my comments is "use the right tool for the right job".

app will only open SimpleText documents . . . as said so on the Read Me file. Unfortunately, that means firing up Classic to use a Mac OS X app--not good. Oddly enough, this would be a useful utility for the crowd I game with . . .
