Product Description:

TIFF Tuner is used to modify the alpha layers in graphics files. This can be used to add or remove transparency using automated (and customizable) algorithms or by selecting pixel colours in an image to manipulate.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed a bug where trying to perform an operation on an empty image would present strange error panels or crash the program
  • Re-named some parts of the preference panel and added tool tips
  • Fixed a bug where the outline around an image could be displayed much larger than than the image when the window is too small
  • Fixed a major memory leak in the engine

a first beta version but I find it less buggy than many of the "final" versions that come through here. I find this app incredibly useful for icons but also Aquatint (found here on versiontracker) That program just became usable because I can create a tiff that actually works in that program in less than 15 seconds now. It is like these two programs were made to be used together and I wouldn't mind at all if they started collaborating and zipping the two programs up together. Great work.

would be 100x more useful if you could map out portions to filter and it didn't just zap the whole file.
