Xnet ReviewStill given false readings... - Version: 1.4.5, 9/20/2003 12:55PM PST

I have downloaded the latest version and am still getting false positives and negatives running on a iBook with Airport. With Xnet showing a system up using PING I can ping the system at the terminal and show that it is not responding...Same thing for a system showing down with SMPT but I can access the SMTP server using telnet on port 23....

Would love to get a product that really works...

I purchased the license and have been testing the product. First on an iBook...
Everything looked great until I realized I was geating FALSE POSITIVES (servers up) when I turned off my wireless lan link. Yep no network access and I still had servers showing up. I then investigated further and found false positives using SMTP and HTTP on servers that I was contacting in another window. So to give the product the benefit of the doubt I loaded it on my iMac which is hardwired to my LAN. Same exact issues.....

As it stands now this code is worse then usless. It is misleading....
