ClarusX CommentaryWorks Fine in Leopard - Version: 3.0, 9/10/2008 04:09PM PST

If you want Clarus (Moof!) back in your Page Setup... this is the only way you are gonna get her, cuz I suspect Apple and TPTB consider this issue d-e-d.

Latest version of Leopard, Clarus is displayed in all her Moofy! glory.

ClarusX ReviewWorks Perfectly with OS X v10.4.x! I love it. - Version: 3.0, 1/20/2007 07:05PM PST

Sure, I've got a Unix based OS that looks good enough to lick, but the paper orientation icon on the "Page Setup..." dialogue contains this boring guy who probably wasn't even created by Susan Kare.

I now have the dogcow on my print dialogue boxes, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks to everyone who made this possible.

If you care about Clarus, please sign the "Save our Dogcow" petition here:

Hopefully, they'll offer a preference setting for using Clarus in the "Appearance" prefpane of OS X 10.5 (or at least a hidden pref).

ClarusX CommentaryIt's a shame - - Version: 2.0.1e, 2/28/2004 05:37PM PST

I had the same experience as MacMgr - I use Panther, and when i tried to print after installing this version of clarusx, the print dialog box would no longer come up. However, before installing clarusx I had clicked on the 'backup system resources.command' icon supplied in its folder, and thankfully, clicking on the 'restore system resources.command' icon did actually put everything back to normal. So please note, if you decide to try this app, do as I did and it will hopefully save you from having to reinstall Panther. Such a shame that it's no longer being developed, as I miss my Dogcow.
