I wouldn't know about the GUI version but just wanted to say thanks for a top cli calculator. Makes keyboard only calculating a simple and speedy affair.

Crashes (or quits?) when one closes the inspection panel.

Wcalc Review/usr/bin -> /usr/local/bin - Version: 2.1.2, 12/1/2005 06:30PM PST

While the GUI program is fine, the developer has made a serious error in the fact that he has the audacity to install the commandline program in the /usr/bin directory, where many critical system-oriented utilities are stored, instead of where third-party applications of this nature should go, which is /usr/local/bin. I've seen too many arrogant developers ignore common wisdom, to let this go unmentioned. Users should avoid the installer for the commandline version and instead install wcalc via Fink.

better. Window resizing is goofy. I had cos(-12) = 0 once but I can't repeat it. The Preferences window is a floater and shouldn't be, as far as I can tell. Still waiting on complex numbers :). There's still RPN Calculator for that, though. Thanks for Clear history, though. The "Error" dialog can't be dismissed with the Return key, despite the highlighted Oops. button.

slickest, smoothest, fastest and most useful calculator I have ever seen on the Mac; a fine piece of work. Thank you very much.
