Product Description:

ConverTable Planets is designed to answer that age-old question, "if a widget weighs 34 stones on Earth, just how many troy ounces would that widget weigh on Mars?" In doing so, ConverTable Planets could be used to teach about unit conversions and gravity. Additionally, it can show the planets and moons in their true relative sizes.

What's new in this version:

Adds a "Year Conversions" option to compare the lengths of years on the various planets. Several other improvements have been made; including planet and moon descriptions and new planetary datasets. ConverTable Planets now primarily uses a single-window interface.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.3
  • Mac OS X 10.2
  • Mac OS X 10.1

Additional Requirements:

  • Mac OS X 10.1 or higher

ConverTable Planets ReviewFor what it does ... - Version: 1.7, 9/3/2004 10:55AM PST

It is excellent at what it says it does.

I would only recommend for a future upgrade ...

perhaps a larger window/pictures (as an option?)

have your choice of weight system (pounds/kg/etc) be persistent (remembers next launch

I like it.

Wonderful, just wonderful. I homeschool my son and we have spent hours with this comparing and re-comparing each and every planet. This is absolutly awesome!!! I can't say enough good things about this, so I'll just shut up and tell all to give it a try.

of dynamite freeware than outclasses most of the so-called commercial-quality products. The planet comparisons are brilliantly done. A fine experience not to be missed.
